Yarn & hook size:

This crochet pattern is written in English and uses US crochet terms. The pattern is made to measure, which means you make the top according to your own body measurment. The pattern being made to measure also means you can use any yarn and hook size. However, you will need two crochet hooks with a size difference of 0.5 mm. I used a 2.50 mm crochet hook for the waist ribbing and the scalloped trim and a 3.00 mm for the rest of the top.

For the light blue sleeveless version I used Panduro cotton 8/4, approximately 860 meters of yarn (each skein of this yarn was 50 grams and 145 meters). For the red long sleeved version I used Hobbii friends cotton 8/4, approximately 1440 meters of yarn (each skein of this yarn was 50 grams and 160 meters). In addition to the yarn you chose for the majority of the top, you will also need a lace weight yarn for the scalloped trim, I used Hobbii rainbow lace. I attached an elastic thread under the bust and on the inside of the scalloped trim. To attach the elastic thread I used a 1.50 mm hook.
